I genuinely want to know how people meet someone they're actually compatible with. I'm looking for a serious, long-term relationship, but I'm not sure where to find it.
I've tried dating apps, but they feel strange to me. A lot of the guys I've matched with ask me out almost immediately, before we've even had a real conversation. Even though my profile clearly says I'm looking for a serious relationship, it often feels rushed.
I think I'd prefer meeting someone organically, but that doesn't seem to happen either.
For people who are in healthy relationships, How did you actually meet? Is there something I should be doing differently, or is this just what dating is like now?
